Disappearing Hong Kong: Book 4 & HK Book Fair 2012

Hi! I’ve contributed to the 4th book in the Disappearing Hong Kong series.

You can buy this book with discount from Joyful Books at stand 1B-21C at the Hong Kong Book Fair at the HKCEC - July 18-24th.

My contribution consists of a few tutorials on making poultry and a poultry cage. I also made a poultry shop scene which is shown as a ‘retro’ photo above.

The theme of the book is the stilted houses of the 60’s and 70’s. These were illegal houses built on hill sides. At the time Hong Kong had a shortage of government housing and many people resorted to building their own shacks and bootlegging electricity and water.

This time the book will suit modellers more.
